A .circuit name is an ERC-721 that resolves to a wallet, a die, an app, an agent and an on-chain site. Your name is shown everywhere Wafer would otherwise show your address — as a die owner, a signer, a bidder, a creator — and anyone can send to it or add it as a signer by typing the name. Names are rented by the year; every fee goes to the treasury. Owners can hand out free subnames (pay.alice.circuit) that live as long as the parent. Registering takes two transactions about a minute apart: the first stakes your claim as a hash, so nobody watching can see which name you are taking until it is already yours.
